The Department of Medicine is innovative and growth-oriented. In the past several years, we have developed new clinical programs in Medical Genetics, Weight Management, Palliative Care, a Liver Center and advanced endoscopy procedures.

We have a strong commitment to training physicians in primary care, and have developed a new state-of-the-art level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home in our hospital-based primary care practice. Our primary care faculty are dedicated to teaching all you need to know to be an outstanding PCP, from optimal patient-doctor communication to the latest evidence regarding complex disease management strategies.
