Opportunities for Medical Students
Our clinician-educators begin training future physicians during medical school. Our faculty teaches introductory courses for first- and second-year medical students and for biomedical doctoral students in the Health Sciences and Technology Program at Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Sub-Internships and Electives
Third-year medical students at Harvard Medical School who choose Mount Auburn Hospital for a sub-internship in medicine join the care team to manage patients under a resident’s supervision. Fourth-year medical students benefit from subspecialty elective rotations in departments such as intensive care and urogynecology.
