Please note that hospitalized patients must have physician approval to eat any food other than what is served in their rooms.
We provide nutritious patient meals and several menu options for visitors to our cafeteria.
The Mount Auburn Hospital cafeteria offers breakfast, lunch and dinner — plus snacks and coffee — every weekday. Also, our Stanton Café provides breakfast, lunch, coffee and snack items every weekday.

Visiting hours are from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily.
As COVID-19 cases have declined and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 remain low, we have returned to more conventional guidance for inpatient visitors and patient escorts in the hospital. Most patients are allowed two visitors at a time. Learn more about our visiting hours and policies.
Mount Auburn Hospital is a tobacco free environment. Smoking and tobacco use of any kind are prohibited on all hospital property, indoors and outdoors. The policy applies to patients, visitors, employees, physicians, contractors and vendors.

For your convenience, we offer racks to secure your bicycle during your visit. A Hubway station is located on Mount Auburn Street next to the bus shelter.
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) bus stop is located directly in front of the hospital on Mount Auburn Street. Bus #71 and bus #73 stop on either side of the street going to and from Harvard Square.
The Harvard Square MBTA Red Line station is about a 15-minute walk to the hospital.
Mount Auburn Hospital is a member of the Alewife Transportation Management Association.
Paid parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the East and West garages for a nominal fee.
The West garage is located next to the Stanton building, and the East garage is located next to the Needham and Medical Office buildings. Note: there are no elevators in the East garage; however, there is direct access to the hospital elevators on Parking Levels A, C and E. There are elevators on each level of the West garage.
Handicapped parking and access are available on Levels A and C of the East parking garage and the entire West garage at regular rates.
For your safety, please lock your vehicle and only park in marked spaces. We cannot be responsible for stolen items or damage to your vehicle.

If a visit to Mount Auburn Hospital or the Medical Office Building runs longer than three hours, patients and patient visitors can receive a discounted parking day rate of $20.00. Please bring your parking ticket to the cashier located in the Stanton Lobby to receive the discounted patient day rate.
Discount booklets of 5 tickets are available at the parking cashier's office in the Stanton Lobby 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm. The discounted tickets are available to:
Cash, credit cards or checks will be accepted. If you have a financial hardship and cannot afford to pay the hourly parking rates, please contact Social Services at 617-499-5050.
