Arrhythmia Diagnosis

If an arrhythmia is suspected, your doctor may perform various tests to diagnose your arrhythmia.

Cardiac electrophysiologists rely on the patient's medical history and noninvasive and invasive diagnostic tests to identify and treat various cardiac arrhythmias. They are often referred to as electricians of the heart.

The Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Mount Auburn Hospital include board-certified cardiac electrophysiologists who serve on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and lead a multidisciplinary team of nurse practitioners, nurses, technicians, and residents in the care of patients with cardiac arrhythmias.

The Mount Auburn Cardiac Arrhythmia Service provides a comprehensive patient-centered approach to treating abnormal heart rhythms.
