Nonsurgical Care 

Whenever possible, we start your care with nonsurgical treatment. This includes: 

• Splints that protect your joints.
• Hand therapy, including exercises to help you move easier and more comfortably.
• Medications, such as steroid injections, to ease pain.

Surgical Care 

In some cases, you may need surgery to treat a hand or wrist condition. Our surgeons have experience performing the following procedures: 

• Carpal tunnel release
• Finger or wrist fusion to reduce arthritis pain 
• Knuckle, wrist or elbow replacement 
• Removal of cysts or bone spurs  
• Repair of torn ligaments and tendons

When possible, our surgeons use minimally invasive techniques, such as arthroscopy. During these procedures, surgeons make small incisions and use a camera to perform the procedure.Arthroscopy can reduce your pain, scarring and recovery time.
