About Community Health Grants at Mount Auburn Hospital

Mount Auburn Hospital offers community health grants to non-profit organizations, including local service organizations, schools, boards of health, coalitions and community groups that provide services in the hospital's market area of Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Somerville, Waltham, and Watertown.

The grants, which are part of the Mount Auburn Hospital's Community Benefits Program, are intended to fund evidence-based or evidence-informed programs that address one of the following community health priorities: equitable access to care, social determinants of health, mental health and substance abuse, complex and chronic conditions and racial equity. Grants issued should address one of the following priority cohorts: Youth, Older adults, Low resource populations, LGBTQIA+, and Racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse populations.

Announcing a New Health Grant Opportunity for FY25

This grant opportunity will fund evidenced-based and evidenced-informed initiatives and programs that positively and meaningfully impact populations and community members within its service area that face the greatest health inequities. Mount Auburn Hospital is offering three organizations up to $20,000 in grant funding. Download the application here.
