Mount Auburn Hospital Welcomes New Board Member

Board Leadership Advances Mount Auburn Hospital's Community-Focused Mission

Cambridge, MA – Mount Auburn Hospital announced today that Elizabeth Brodbine Ghoniem has joined the hospital’s board of trustees as a new member.

Mount Auburn’s board is made up of dedicated professionals with a wealth of personal and professional experience and a shared commitment to the hospital’s mission to create healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity.

In addition to the new Trustee, Mount Auburn Hospital announced new members of the Board of Advisors, including Francis Ahern; Helaine Ahern; Alex Attia; Joseph Bradlee; Jeita Deng; Megan Donovan-Chien; Kelly Duda; Kate Flaim; Pamela Michaelis; Michael Monestime; LuAnn Polk; William Polk; Ashley Stevens; and Steven Tolman.

About Mount Auburn’s New Trustee

Elizabeth Brodbine Ghoniem

Ms. Brodbine Ghoniem is an advisor and consultant whose career spans the non-profit, non-governmental, government, and corporate sectors, with a focus on addressing systemic challenges and improving operational efficiency. She is deeply engaged in community service, currently serving on the boards of a Boston Public School pilot school and the Winchester Seniors Association Trust. She is also an active member of the Medical Reserve Corps, serving with the Boston MRC and Metro East Regional MRC.

Ms. Brodbine Ghoniem joined the Mount Auburn Hospital Board of Advisors in 2023 and contributes as a member of both the Quality/Patient Experience and Care Assessment Committee and the Pink Pages event committee.
