Beth Israel Lahey Health Opens Multispecialty Site in Watertown

BILH Care Center – Watertown Offers Primary Care, Specialty Services

Watertown, MA – Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) has opened a new multispecialty site in Watertown. The site, known as the BILH Care Center – Watertown, is located at 480 Pleasant Street and includes primary care and obstetrics and gynecology services. Additional specialty services and an urgent care center will be opened at the site over the next several months.

Primary care will be provided by BILH Primary Care clinicians, specialty services by Mount Auburn Hospital clinicians, and urgent care by physicians from Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians.

“The new care center will further BILH's goal of providing more care in the community, closer to where people live,” said Alex Barker, Chief Operating Officer, BILH Primary Care. “We look forward to serving more patients in Watertown and the surrounding communities with the extraordinary care provided by our clinicians.”

“Increasing access to care is a goal of Mount Auburn, and we are excited to open this new care center in Watertown,” said Ed Huang, MD, President of Mount Auburn Hospital. “Our patients will now have another convenient option for seeking care.”

As part of BILH's strategic plan, Blueprint 2030, BILH has set a goal to deliver 70 percent of the care it delivers in the community by 2030.
